the normal self wants to say, This is too tiring!, I have had enough!, I don't want to do anything anymore!

Then, at that moment of reflection, how can any loyal servant of Allah wannabe say such things when there are so many things to NOT be tired about and to look forward to.

Oh boy, this temporary world really is tiring.

Abdullah ibn Ahmad Hanbal asked his father, "When can we truly rest?"

Looking into the eyes of his son, he said, "We can truly rest, when we have taken a step in Jannah."


Dear Allah... allow me to overcome ALL the temporary worldly challenges so that I can truly rest in the hereafter, in Jannah. If you have predestined for me to fail any of them, allow me to overcome it with patience and eeman.

Im tired but I thank you for these FEW challenges and the COUNTLESS blessings and nikmat that you have gifted me with, especially the nikmat of knowing that You is actually, enough. ('=
